Hi Johanna, how are you? I just came back from Amazon last week. I was filming the documentary I told you about the Indigenous land demarcation. I spent 5 weeks doing it and was a great experience and a lot of material to choose. The theme is quite polemic and I think it could bring me some political problems but I think it is a Doc is not polemic it is suspicious. Because I have too much material maybe I am going to spend three month or more visualising and editing (including music and graphics). I hope to have de doc ready by February next year. I also organised a two weeks workshop last July with the idea to teach some indigenous (9 in total), from 5 different ethnic groups, to learn how to make their our movies, in particular to use the video as a way to communicate their own realities and a tool of fighting for their land and self determination. In January next year, we are bringing these same guys back to make the second part of the workshop.

By the way may be I am visiting Quebec in November, around the 6th of November. When I received the formal invitation I let you know. If I travel I am planning to visit Alberta as well as I am doing a research with some people from the University of Alberta.

Hope you all right and I big hug

Eli
